At Integrated Alliances, and our sister company IA Social Media, we have a lot of fun, especially with our customers and business partners. Heck, fun is at the very heart of what we stand for. It is our soul and it is what we are like to be with.
Witness Rock Band Night, a weekly tradition for the IA Executive team of Mike O’Neil and Lori Ruff. On Thursday nights we gather at downtown Denver’s Old Chicago Restaurant and Bar, where we are joined by partners like Andrea Hoffman of Jobing.com (and, in this case, my personal physician Dr. Clark Maiocco) to bond over some Classic Rock fantasies with the help of Rock Band 2.
Old Chicago contracts with this amazing company called Death of the Arcade to draw in like-minded music lovers who have fantasies of being Rock Stars. If you haven’t heard much about Rock Band, it is a game that runs on a Playstation, XBOX, Wii, etc. Instruments and microphones are added in and a special DVD is played (songs are on the DVD or they can be downloaded).
Each player follows really cool patterns that tell you when to hit which note, bang on which drum, sing which lyrics, etc. Death of the Arcade brings in about $10k worth of gear including my favorite – a solid wood Fender guitar.
Well, this video tells a bit of the story and I am sure there will be more of these as time goes by. Want some REALLY GREAT FUN and some business bonding wrapped into one? Look around, ask around, get on Google and see if this is available in your town.
Are you in Denver? Join us! That is, when we are not gallivanting across North America on our Rock The World Social Music Tour 2010 in support of our Rock The World LinkedIn book.
