I personally have been working on narrowing my company’s focus from Internet marketing to social media marketing and then from social media marketing to very specific niches within that arena.

Relevant and targeted keywords plays a huge part in gaining a social media presence. Some would use general keywords and find themselves fighting to increase their rankings.
